The Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) is a national credential system that trains, develops, assesses and certifies skills and competencies for the workforce. As a continuing education and training (CET) system, WSQ supports the SkillsFuture movement to:

Course Learning Outcome
- Types, categories and classifications of beauty care, cosmetics and skin care products and their countries of origins.
- Types of customers and their requirements for beauty care, cosmetics and skin care products.
- How to provide beauty care, cosmetics and skin care products advisory in accordance with organisation’s policies and procedures.
- Demonstrations and provide advice on beauty care, cosmetics and skin care products and their usage.
Pre-requisites
Important note:
Attendance requirement: min 75% attendance
Course completion requirements: Fulfill at least 75% min attendance and pass assessments – competent (Refer to mode of assessment for details)
- Aged 21 years and above.
- Non-experience or least 1 year of experience in beauty care industry.
- Minimum education level of Workplace Literacy and Numeracy (WPLN) Level 3 or equivalent.
- Those who do not meet educational, literacy and numeracy requirement will be counselled and advised that they may not be able to follow the content, keep up with training, cope with assessment conducted. Where necessary, unsuitable applicants will be discouraged from enrolling in the programme.
Cognitive Level (Low to Mid):
- Participants possess at least primary education or its equivalent
- Basic command of English language and able to converse in English and/or Chinese language
Affective Level (Mid to High):
- Employer-sponsored individuals who are self-motivated to hone their skills and competencies in the beauty and wellness industry
- Employer-sponsored individuals who possess strong interests in grooming their professional career in the beauty and wellness industry
Sociality Level (Low to Mid):
- Some experience in working and collaborating in team environment
- Relevant experience in interacting with customer
