The main aim of the VTCT (ITEC) Level 3 Diploma in Holistic Massage (Express) is to enable learners to gain the necessary practical and theoretical skills in order to provide massage treatments to the general public and to gain employment in the massage industry. This qualification is suitable for learners aged 16 and over and is designed to provide occupational competence at level 3. It also provides a sound platform into further training at level 3 and 4.

VTCT (ITEC) 第三等级身体按摩文凭的主要目的是让学员获得必要的实践和理论技能，以便为公众提供按摩治疗并在按摩行业获得就业机会。

Underpinning Knowledge

1. Requirement to perform the holistic massage skills

2. Development of massage setting, such as communicating with clients, working with others and problem solving

3. Develop a range of skills, techniques, personal qualities and attitudes essential for successful performance in employment as a massage therapist

4. Related health and safety and client care and communication which is essential in order to work and be successful in the industry

Abilities

1. Carry out pre-treatment activities– to include consultation and contra-indications, selecting suitable massage mediums for the client’s skin type,

classical lymphatic drainage movements and adapting the treatment to the client’s specific needs

2. Conduct treatment for contraindication

3. Demonstrate the compliance of holistic massage

4. Carry out post-treatment activities

• At least 16 years old

• Academic Requirement: At least a Grade C6 (Min 50%) at O-Level in any 3 subjects or matured candidate who is 30 years old with at least 8 years of relevant working experience

• Language Requirement: At least a Grade 5 (Min 50%) at N-Level English or IELTS 4.5

• All amount stated are in Singapore Dollars (SGD), and no GST.

• Registration Fees refer to the price that the student pays the school for the sole purpose of processing the application requirements, and it is non-refunable.

• The maximum allowed period for a student to complete the course is 18 months from first date of course

• The Course Fee are non-refundable, unless there is no future class commence date by SOQ International Academy

• The minimum number of students that is required before a class commences is 6 pax, in the event the class cannot commence due to low take up rate, SOQ International Academy will notify the students at least 7 days in advance and provide an alternate commerce date.

• Local Student refers to Singaporean Citizens, Permanent Residents, Employment Pass or Dependant Pass Holders.

Attendance requirement: min 75% attendance

Course completion requirements: Fulfill at least 75% min attendance and pass all assessments (Refer to mode of assessment for details)
