With this interactive training program, you will:
- Gain a comprehensive overview of the new global baseline for sustainability reporting established by the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB)
- Gain an in-depth understanding of the ISSB’s general disclosure standard (IFRS S1) and climate-related disclosure standard (IFRS S2), which build upon existing frameworks like TCFD and SASB.
- Understand the objectives, scope, and core content requirements of these standards, including disclosures on sustainability-related risks, opportunities, and impacts from both a financial materiality and impact materiality perspective.
- Learn how to apply the ISSB standards to identify and report on material environmental, social, and governance (ESG) topics, with a focus on climate-related disclosures.
At the end of the course, you will:
- Extract relevant learnings from ESG conventions, standards and practices
- Determine organisational policies and practices for decision making through an evaluation of the impact of ESG
