18 hours, including 2 hours of assessment

Target Group 

All construction workers, both locals and foreign, are required to go through the AWSH training course.

Presumed Knowledge and Skills

Only students age 18 years old and above are allowed to enter the course, and are expected to:
– Be proficient in the English language (listen, speak, read and write) and adept in manipulating numerical figures – at a level comparable to Employability Skills (ES) level 2. (Applies to English Courses ONLY)
– Meet the required fitness standards.
– Capable of following oral and written work instructions
– Have the required employment status as a manual labourer to perform construction work in building and engineering construction sites.
– Possess adequate organisational skills.

This course is applicable for SkillsFuture Funding up to 90%*

*From 1 Jan 2022, SkillsFuture course funding will be revised to a baseline of 50% subsidy, with an additional 20% subsidy (up to 70% subsidy) for SMEs and Mid-career individuals (Singapore citizens above 40 years old) . Certification

Candidates who have completed and certified competent will receive a photo pass.
